I have reinstalled Ubuntu and made all the updates and the problems
reappeared. The debug is now :

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ PMOUNT_DEBUG=1 pmount-hal /dev/hdc
drive: /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_LITEON_DVD_ROM_LTD163
volume: /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_part_1_size_3749740544
device: /dev/hdc
label: usbdisk
fstype: (null)
options: exec
umask: (null)
spawnv(): executing pmount 'pmount' '--exec' '/dev/hdc' 'usbdisk-1'
Erreur : /dev/hdc is yet mounted on /media/usbdisk
spawn(): pmount terminated with status 4
Erreur: impossible to execute pmount

Here is my /etc/fstab too:

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1

/dev/hdd /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

Ihave a dvd drive and a cdrw drive, but only one seems to be mounted.
