Binary package hint: pidgin
New pidgin, 2.4 has an ugly chat text entry window - it is 'dynamic',
i.e resizes itself when 'it's needed', cannot be set by hand, seems to
be limited to rows, etc. This is an unneded 'improvement' that should be
fixed or made optional.
