Hi, I'm curious... Would it be possible for you to try and scp a file from your Linux Server to your Vista client? You can use something like Putty's pscp from: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/pscp.exe See what sort of throughput you get on a secure copy.
