Public bug reported: Binary package hint: amule-daemon
I'm not able to upgrade amule-daemon in Ubuntu Hardy from 2.2.0~svn20080218-0ubuntu2_amd64 to 2.2.0~svn20080218-0ubuntu2_amd64, because I get an error in a pre=removal script see below. The daemon is configured to automatically start with the system. Even stopping the daemon by 'sudo /etc/init.d/amule-daemon stop' and repeating the update does not help. Messagebox Synaptic: E: /var/cache/apt/archives/amule-daemon_2.2.0~svn20080218-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb: subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 --- Output Synaptic: (Reading database ... 266498 files and directories currently installed.)
