Public bug reported: Right, I had Ubuntu 7.10 but upgraded to Hardy with all updates installed, and libwnck v. 2.22.0-0ubuntu3.
This is kind of related to bug 204994(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libwnck/+bug/204994) The flickering tooltip persists on the show desjtop button in the gnome panel. To reproduce this problem, hover your mouse over the Show/Hide Desktop button at the bottom left part of the screen (the default location), and move your mouse to see the tooltip flickering.
