I agree that this bug report should be closed. It is still a bug, but with the NVIDIA software as mentioned earlier. Therefore, it's no longer work for the Ubuntu developers to handle. However, I do hope that when closing a bug here, it will still be accessible to users who search for it in the future. I am unfamiliar with Ubuntu's bug-base and what happens when a bug is closed.
