Hi Christian,

Were you using the -386 kernel flavor prior to the upgrade or were you
using the -generic flavor?  There is a known bug where the -386 flavor
is being installed instead of the -generic one which is causing sound
issues for many.  Refer to bug 188579.  I'm guessing the bug you ran
into here is a duplicate of that.  Thanks.
