Does that happens also with an other Ubuntu Version? For example with the
latest Ubuntu developer version Hardy beta one?
You can download them from http://releases.ubuntu.com/8.04/
If your card is not working, can you please provide the following informations:
What kind of card do you have?
Output from uname -a ?
Output from lspci ?
Output from ifconfig -a ?
