I'd like to debug this, but there are no debug packages available for timidity - Short of rebuilding myself and forcing debugging symbols, is there anything I can do about this?
The stack-trace shows that it enters an infinite recursion in expand_file_archives () and eventually segfaults, but that's probably not very useful without line-numbers. This is only a problem when trying to play midi files from the command- line, playing midi files via the timidity ALSA device works fine and without faults.
