Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

I'm running Xubuntu 7.10 (Feisty) and using Feisty's xen packages. (xen version
3.1).
I believe the problem is with linux-image-xen (version 2.6.22.14.21)

I have built two hvm domUs, each running windows 2003. They are
identical in configuration except for the obvious differences of name,
Ethernet MAC, and disk device. I would expect to be able to start either
or both of these in whatever order makes sense. In reality, starting the
second domU is always followed shortly by a dom0 kernel panic.

The first domU runs fine. It installed, booted, and ran with no problems.
For the second domU, I duplicated the config file and changed the name,
Ethernet MAC, and disk.
The second domU boots, but cannot finish the Win2003 install without a dom0
kernel panic.
It doesn't matter whether the first domU is running or not, or what order
they're started in. The first domU continues to run fine.

I'm attaching one file that contains three files from my system: the
config files for the two domU's and an excerpt from my syslog showing
the kernel panic.

I'm posting this as a possible bug in the linux-image-xen package as
well as posting this to the xen-devel. Here are cross-references to the
threads in xen-users and xen-devel:
