No news at all on that forum. They didn't even read it.

Also, if you do get to speak to them, ask them to remove the useless data from 
that xml-file.
Or provide a different xml file with just the artist-names, album-names, 
track-names and track-ids.

Currently it contains html for artist pages and such. (they store
generated html in their database? daily-wtf worthy!). Also the generated
html isn't very clean, more like what front-page would do.  10 lines of
<div style='margin: 7px'> .. yuck yuck yuck.

There is also another api, besides the database dump, but it shouldn't
be used to fetch all data. (they have memory limitations). So, that's
out of the question.

I still can't believe they just broke it and never looked back, not even
notifying anyone, while all these nice developers making sure it works
with their players (amarok, rhythmbox) .. that's one way to destroy any
good-will.
