Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cupsys
The cupsys package in Hardy appears to no longer have the /usr/share/cups/enable_sharing script. As a result, the "Enable Printer Sharing" option in the printers configuration panel for KDE doesn't work. Release: Ubuntu Hardy (8.04 beta) Package version: 1.3.7-1ubuntu1 Expected: "Enable printer sharing" in kde printers control panel would enable sharing printers via cups. What happened: "Enable printer sharing" results in kdesu reporting "Command not found". Running "ps" shows that kdesu is attempting to execute "/usr/share/cups/enable_sharing 1". Pm ** Affects: cupsys (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] kdesu cannot find /usr/share/cups/enable_sharing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212076 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
