Thank you for reporting this bug. However, it still needs some more information
before we can pass it on to the developers. Can you please attach the following
commands and files?
/var/log/syslog
apt-cache policy gnome-panel
gconftool --recursive-list /apps/panel
Please don't paste them all in a comment but attach them in separate files. It
doesn't matter if you have to post multiple comments.
