I have the problem of Pidgin's annoying crash when resuming from
Suspend, also. Pidgin's bug tracker indicate that it was really fixed
(http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/5024) on 2.4.1. It would be a great
advance for stability to have this included before Hardy final.

Anyway, Pidgin 2.4.1 is just a minor release containing only bug fixes,
according to the changelog. Is a feature freeze exception really
necessary for this?
