Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wireless-tools

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04
Kernel: 2.6.24-15
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 TL-58

I am using ndiswrapper with the latest ndiswrapper utils (version 1.9). I have
blacklisted the bc
m43xx and the b43 drivers. I installed the Windows Vista driver, see command
below with results.

# ndiswrapper -l
bcmwl6 : driver installed

The device is not being recognized even though the driver is installed.
I previously tried using b43-fwcutter however that did not work either.
Does anyone have any advice for a workaround?
Is there a problem with the ndiswrapper implementation in 8.04?
Thanks,
Luis Manuel
