How did this file get generated in the first place? There are carriage- returns in the XML serialization, Tellico preserves those and they show up in the list view as you see it. I think the real bug may be whatever generated the data in the first place, which data source in Tellico did you use to create the data? I'll have to track that down and fix it.
I would expect the layout problem to be present in earlier versions, too. Did you upgrade from an older version, or is this collection newly created?
