Slight question: could the problems with ndiswrapper be related to this article? http://kerneltrap.org/Linux/NDISwrapper_and_the_GPL Looks like the kernel devs intentionally (or unintentionally) broke ndiswrapper because it is not GPL and requests access to GPLONLY methods. Granted, with the latest updates to Ubuntu, ndiswrapper works, but it's intermittent for me. It doesn't appear to lose connection, but data stops transmitting. I don't know which logs to look at to see what's actually going on (I checked dmesg and /var/log/messages, but nothing out of the ordinary there...)
