Jake, after upgrading to Hardy I noticed that DRM video sync stopped working for me. Judging by the mythtv-users thread you've posted, my problem might be related. I'll try to recompile the ati driver on this box. You're luckier than me, though: RTC video sync will lock up playback for me after a few minutes :)
