Well, it doesn't matter where the file is placed, but you have to care that you 
*first* change to the directory where the file is located.
By default the terminal opens in /home/username/ (for you probably 
/home/southstarr/). So you can place the file to this directory and then the 
command (sudo dpkg --force-overwrite -i 
liblaunch-intergration1_0.1.18_i386.deb) works perfect.
