Alright, I have now made sure that 04_brightness_events.patch causes
this issue. Reverting that patch re-introduces some of the old problems,
but at least squashes this bug. I'll see if I can attach my package, and
you can see if it solves it for you guys as well. Next step, I guess, is
to try to find out what part of this patch actually causes the problem.
