Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fglrx-kernel-source
I have an up-to-date Hardy install on a Dell XPS Generation 1. The video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 using the restricted fglrx driver. I can suspend to RAM with multiple cycles OK with the open source ATI driver, but it causes other problems with my video card in relationship to clone mode, etc. ATI claims fglrx supports suspend/resume and the last time I tried hibernation with fglrx it worked. However, suspend to RAM has never worked right.
