Well everything seems okay.. You can im me on gmail (ke7ezt(at)gmail).
Although I think we may want to uninstall the current hplip and re-
install it to make sure there isn't some conflict or something corrupt.

If you have the hplip source still available run make uninstall from
within the directory (hplip-2.8.2). If not run:

sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip

and then delete the hplip source directory and re-install running sh
hplip-2.8.2.run
