"Audacity's acinclude.m4 file currently reads PKG_CHECK_MODULES(SOUNDTOUCH, soundtouch-1.0 >= 1.3.1" I'm guessing a quick fix for hardy would be to patch audacity so that it looks for our version of soundtouch. A better fix would be to patch soundtouch 1.3.0 so that it gives the same pkg-config as 1.3.1.
