I'm sorry, the whole issue may be unrelated to hal-info. I couldn't
trace the issue back at all.

There is definitely something wrong with ~/.dbus in Hardy – see:

But as I said, it seems like it was just a coincidence on my side, so
I'm marking this invalid.
