I have an integrated webcam on a MSI EX600-023 laptop.
It used to work very well in Gutsy, but now that I have installed the beta of
Hard Heron I can see an image only for a few seconds in several applications:
- cheese (used to work in Gutsy):there's a little delay between my movements
and the video (which didn't exist in Gutsy), then the image freezes and the
program closes (segmentation fault)
- skype (used to work in Gutsy) when using the test available in the options
the image is synchronized with my movements but get blurred and freeze after a
while.
- ekiga (not tested in Gutsy) I see an image when I click on the webcam icon
but the same thing as in skype happens.
The period during which I can see a moving image is variable (from 2sec
to 30sec). It seems to be longer i skype.
