I will also see if I can access the plugin manager on the Gutsy machine (it is unfortunately no longer close by, but I still have access to it). I'll try to report back in a couple of days so that this can be sorted out and closed.
And, yes, I did believe macuto's msg could be read as "JC Nash is employed by macuto." I've explained to him offline why it is a concern for some of us.
