I'm not even sure what the real problem is. Is it the right policy to move the 
panels to the new screen? I personally like to start the applications on my 
laptop LCD screen, and pull it to the new screen (which is next to it, not 
overlapping) and full screen them there. For a presentation it makes sense. The 
audience is not interested in my panel. So in my opinion it would be better to 
leave the panels on the LCD screen by default.
