My details: * 8.04 Hardy Beta (installed 2 weeks ago or so) with updates to now (April 12 11pm GMT +1) * Kernel: Linux xxx 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 12:47:45 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux (2.6.24-12 and 2.6.24-15 weren't working either) * 04:04.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:4318] (rev 02) * Installed b43-fwcutter and run /usr/share/b43-fwcutter/install_bcm43xx_firmware.sh manually (checked file perms) * module b43 loaded (this is the one recommended by the b43 developers.
