I run Ubuntu 8.04 20080412 i386 generic I stumble on the bug when I run -- linux-image-2.6.24-15 and -- linux-image-2.6.24-16.
The bug is not present on -- linux-image-2.6.24-14. I was not able to run HAL from 2.6.24-16. I don't have Ethernet connexion nor good response in the Corba layer of Gnome.
