Public bug reported: Binary package hint: msmtp
The msmtp package built against newer gnutls causes these kinds of errors to many popular mail servers: msmtp: TLS handshake failed: The Diffie Hellman prime sent by the server is not +acceptable (not long enough). msmtp: could not send mail (account mit from /home/jdong/.msmtprc) This used to work fine in Gutsy. This bug is also in Debian at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=440344 The proposed patch is taken from the author's comment on the upstream bug, backporting a new config option "tls_security". When set to "lax" (non-default) it allows such connections to be made. ** Affects: msmtp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- REGRESSION: New gnutls checks cause msmtp to refuse some TLS connections https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
