I'm having the same problem on Hardy with Rhythmbox and a 1G iPod Shuttle. Rhythmbox was working fine until I decided to try Brasero. After install, neither would talk to the IPOD and Rhythmbox would crash. I purged Brasero, but that did absolutely no good. The only thing I get after the crash is a single entry in syslog: rhythmbox[19610]: segfault at 00000008 eip b3c2f154 esp bfcb0910 error 4
