I have been using hardy for a while and sound just worked until an update
sometime last week. Now I have no sound output at all. The ready-to-login sound
plays, after that silence. When playing music using rhythmbox/banshee the
progress bar does not progress. I get pulseaudio to work if I kill it and then
start it from the command line.
