No, this is not printed.  And in fact, ctrl-D won't reboot, either.
There is really, really no way to properly reboot at this stage.

"reboot -f" is _not_ a proper workaround, since it will not umount/sync
filesystems properly.

BTW: This bug still exists in 8.04rc. :-(
