I can confirm this. Plugging in my USB stick causes the firing of 2 nautilus windows to open to display the drive contents as well, however one reports an error that it can't display the contents, while the other can. Also, when this occurs, removing the drive does not cause an auto- unmount and it remains mounted, despite it no longer being present.
