1. Did EnvyNG auto install - OK 2. Chose recovery mode on boot up 3. Menu came up Resume/Root/XFix (not seen before)- chose drop to shell (Root) 4. NVIDIA logo screen came up several times (not seen before) 5. 'Running in low-graphics mode' came up - chose continue 6. GDM started OK with 'failed to initialise HAL' ======================================================================
