Public bug reported: Bug reproduction:
1. Go: System -> Preferences -> Sessions -> Session Options, Check: Automatically remember running applications when logging out, Close. 2. Open Gedit with or without a file, and place its window, somewhere in your screen, except of top-left corner. 3. Log out or restart, and (after) log in. 4. Check if Gedit's window is correctly placed. You must see it, on top-left corner, instead of previous chosen position.
