Well, i've jumped into the pool and upgraded laptop to hardy. I can confirm the problem is there. I've dissassembled the DSDT table, fixed a little warning, updated using initramfs booting with acpi_os_name="Microsoft Windows XP"....... the fan works from the start and after a period, it stops.
Searching on the new, looks like it's being discussed on the acpi-devel mailing list, and it has a bug or something like that. No events on dmesg, no nothing. Also, actually, i can't write on the trip_points file anymore, like i did on feisty. I really really hope we can catch this bug.
