i echo davec was using the roulette method to work-around with Terminal Server Client had huge issues with dell m65 and restricted drivers and screen resolution, so started using the Envy installation this "fixed" my difficulty with switching from a full-screen rdesktop or tsc to one of my other ubuntu 7.10 desktops
