** Attachment added: "Here's my sources.list file for you to check"
   http://librarian.launchpad.net/4820456/sources.list

** Description changed:

- I can't perform package updates via an adept updater tool since i get
- the error message as follows: "There was an error commiting changes.
- Possibly there was a problem downloading some packages or the commit
- could break packages". This error occurs every time i am about to patch
- the system updates. I've tried to do it from CLI but it doesn't show any
- output after launching an adept_updater from CLI.

This error occurs every time i am about to patch the system updates. I've tried
to do it from CLI but it doesn't show any output after launching an
adept_updater from CLI.
+ I've started from kubuntu edgy beta cd, and then i performed a dist-upgrade
which went very smoothly, and gave no pain. The problem occured after applying
the updates.

I haven't changed anything in the sources.list - it's just like it was
after clean install + my edgy beta cd as a source for build essential
  packages etc.
