I tryed to do as Uzzi said: Remove hal --->sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart ---> install hal
but that did not work. I was able to remove hal and I was able to restart dbus but then, when I tryed to install hal I got the same problem as above:: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install hal Reading package lists...
