Last night I somehow managed to get everything turned back on, though
I'm not entirely sure how. I was planning to get my roommate to burn a
7.10 CD and I was going to attempt to suspend and resume that. I had my
computer sitting on the BIOS screen so I could easily do that, and then
after 5 minutes it shut itself off. My first fear was that it
overheated, because it felt very hot. I let it sit and cool for a few
minutes, then when I turned it back on, everything worked. For whatever
reason, the powering it off and on that I'd done earlier in the evening
did not correct the problem, but just letting it shut off from the BIOS
screen corrected it.

Any tests that I should run to help determine what happened, let me
know.
