Public bug reported: Here's what I see as broke: I have movies on a network storage server that are served with password protected samba. I mount the share and double click the movie. Gstreamer opens, but the video is played back at like 1/10th of normal speed.... I open the file in VLC player and the video plays back fine, but the audio is not there. I open it with Xine, and I get the same as VLC.... Then randomly after I have copied it to my workstations hard drive after many attempts to play the video, it finally works and I can play the file with full audio at normal speed....
I can easily repeat the problem. and it only started in the last few days. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Recent regression in video and audio playback https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221585 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
