Public bug reported:

I have upgraded to Ubuntu 7.0, Release 7.0, but no panels (including the
top and bottom taskbars) are visible. I can launch various windows from
the terminal (ie, synaptic, firefox), but when I try and launch gnome-
panel I get an error with regards to an unfound symbol in libcairo.so.2.
The symbol is FT_Library_SetLcdFilter.
