Public bug reported:

This problem is with 8.04LTS.

There are two problems with the method of accepting any key at the end
of the 'Check CD for Defects' process.

1. If the user hits a key at all during the CD check, the test will not even
wait at the end and the results can't be seen.
2. The CD check can take a while and if the user walks away the screen will go
blank. To wake up the screen the user must push a key.; Again the user does not
get a chance to read the results of the CD Check. This is most likely after the
check has completed so fixing issue 1 by flushing the input buffer at the end
of the check will not solve issue 2.

Thanks.
