Hi, i have made lspci | grep 3945 03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)
dmesg | grep iwl [ 187.843915] iwl3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG Network Connection driver for Linux, 1.2.0 [ 187.843920] iwl3945: Copyright(c) 2003-2007 Intel Corporation [ 187.844119] iwl3945: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection [ 190.033100] iwl3945: Tunable channels: 13 802.11bg, 23 802.11a channels [ 190.043870] wmaster0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-3945-rs' lsmod | grep 3945 iwl3945 89844 0 iwlwifi_mac80211 219108 1 iwl3945 cfg80211 15112 1 iwlwifi_mac8021 With this configuration it doesn't work. And i can't find the problem. The "Wlan" LED doesn't "flash". With the ipw3945 it flashs. With the iwl3945 there is no scanning function. "iwlist s" With the ipw3945 the scan function is perfectly with the old kernel 2.6.22-14 The Hardware is an IBM/Lenovo X60t. When i try the 64bit Live CD it works with the actualy kernel version and the iwl3945 module. On the Harddisk is a 32bit Ubuntu. There are no special packets upgrades/mods build. Only "real" ubuntu packet updates. -- iwl3945 modul in 2.6.24-16 doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221735 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
