I feel your pain Chad... I've been looking to get this running since Feisty myself. Since it was working with Hardy beta, I decided to install it on my desktop. Imagine my surprise when I found out that it was broken again in the final release!
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/220493 I finally have it running on my desktop, but had to use the beta release to do so. I'd be up for writing a how-to, but it would make life much easier for everyone if they included the fix in the current kernel. I agree that the linux software raid implementation is better (in fact, that's what I use on my file server), but if I want to do gaming on my desktop I *have* to boot to windows. Virtual machines are great (I use them as well), but aren't up for gaming at the moment. I tried Wine and Cedega, but was pretty disappointed with the results. Dmraid is the most practical way to go as the software raid implementations for windows and linux simply aren't compatible. -- dmraid looking for raid45 when kernel uses raid456 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102973 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
