Public bug reported: After upgrading Ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 (both Russian versions) on Sony Vaio VGN-FZ11SR nm-applet started asking for the password to unlock the keyring to read passphrase for WLAN with hinned SSID. Passphrase is stored in the keyring, and if access is granted, nm-applect connects fine.
If automatic login is disabled, then nm-applet gains access to the keyring automatically. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nm-applet tries to unlock the keyring (asks for password) when automatic login is enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223076 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
