Not sure why it's failing to read the size though: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d# cat /sys/block/sdc/sdc1/size 4294967292 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d# I also tried repartitioning the 828 using cfdisk, but the kernel just doesn't seem to like the apparent geometry of the device. I somehow managed to get it recognised with a single FAT32 partition, though it showed up as 30GB!
