I have been using Hardy since it's inception.My vlc is VLC media player 0.8.6e Janus (wxWidgets interface). Compiled by [EMAIL PROTECTED] Compiler: gcc version 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7).
Using Hardy Linux 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP VLC still has the error, and it looks like I have the same version of you.
