Same problem with nvidia MCP51, chip ALC883 onboard. Sound is very low on every audio output (speaker, headphones) Syslog and dmesg output "hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC883, trying auto-probe from BIOS..." I tried to unload then reload kernel module snd-hda-intel with every chipset model without any result.
